Preston Pickings Davis, 71, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023. He was born on September 11, 1952, to Jim Pickings Davis and Janie Hall Davis in Magee, MS.
He enjoyed working, most of all, repairing automotive bodies for Ed Berry, Tim Jones, and Billy Welch when he could.
On June 8, 1984, he married the love of his life, Judy Chain Davis. They were happily married for over 39 years and he loved her very much. He also liked playing his PlayStation and staying updated with local and international news. Preston loved to read and being outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Davis, and one sister, Vennie Lee Smith.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, JD Davis, KC Davis, Franklin Davis, and Tracy Davis; six sisters, Dovie Jane Bishop, Hattie Mae Parrett, Penny Davis, and Sadie Lee Graves.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
