Elizabeth Janie Wilborn, 85 of Magee, Mississippi passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the MS Care Center in Raleigh, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, August 21, 1938 in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

   Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive, Mississippi. Bro. Larry Dennis will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.

   She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan  Wilborn , Sr;  son, Billy  Carroll  Wilborn;  daughter, Betty  Atkins;  father, Joe  Hawthorne;  mother, Mamie  McKinley  Palmer;  brother, Mack  Palmer.

   Survivors include her sons, Kenneth  Wilborn  (Wilma) of White Pine , TN, Nolan  Wilborn  (Donna ) of Magee , MS, Jimmy  Wilborn  (Carole) of Mt. Olive , MS;  daughters, Mary  Katherine  Hemby  of Magee, MS, Debra  White  (John ) of Magee, MS;  16 grandchildren;  numerous  great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;  brother, Charles  Brazelle;  sister, Shirley  Dickerson; and host of other family members

   Pallbearers will be William Vaughn, Thomas Ray, Donald Welch, Gary Smith, Jimmy Wilborn, and Larry Dennis.
