The countdown is on! School and football season at Prentiss Christian School are just around the corner—and the Saints are fired up and ready to go.

On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, the four senior football players visited MageeNews.com to share their excitement for the upcoming season. With football practice officially starting this week, Head Coach and Athletic Director Terrell Luckey is leading the team into what promises to be another strong year.

“I’ve had these guys since my first year at PC,” said Coach Luckey. “Ready or not, here they come!”

With a 24-player roster, the Saints play 8-man football—a format suited to smaller schools—and have consistently made the playoffs each year since Coach Luckey took over. This year, the goal is clear: go all the way.

One of the biggest challenges? Travel.

“We play teams our size, but they’re scattered all over the state. Not many are close,” Luckey noted.

🧑‍🎓 2025 Senior Players:

  • Payton May

  • Carter Russell

  • Cody Black

  • Cole Davis

📅 2025 Season Schedule Highlights:

  • 08/22 – Away vs. Wilkinson County

  • 08/29 – First Home Game vs. Tensas

Best of luck to the Saints this season—on and off the field!
