***Just received this update from Stacy! 8/23/2018

We just met with Dr. Ajani’s team. Literally a team of folks. MDA is amazing!!!! His blood levels show chemo is working well. He has lost a good bit of weight so we will meet with a nutritionist this afternoon to hopefully find solutions for his appetite etc. Praise the Lord we are going home after being out here for 12 days!!! We will return next Wednesday to do Round 2 of chemo. Dr. Ajani has agreed to coordinate the rest of treatments in Jackson. That’s a HUGE blessing for us. Stanley loves his job and ready to get back to his customers. Dr. Ajani told us at the initial appointment that he had patients with exact cancer only worse that were 10 years out!!! God has literally been with us every tiny step of the way!!! He has grown us in the valley!!! So thankful for the Christian upbringing that I always had. He is faithful!!! And the avalanche of love and support has been humbling.

Stacy gave me the go ahead about a week ago to announce on MageeNews the need for prayers. Stanley has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. The cancer is in the lymph nodes and not the vital organs.

September: A Month to Remember, Speak Their Names, and Choose Hope

Ya’ll, I just couldn’t make the post! My heart is broken for this precious family. I adore Stacy and Stanley. I don’t know what I thought not posting would make it not real! Cancer is real…and real in their life.

We know the power of prayer. We know the power of love. We know the power of prayer warriors.

Pray for hope. Stanley and Stacy have faith in our Sovereign Lord. They need to feel your prayers.

Sometimes I just can’t face another heartbreaking sadness. But, this is not about me. This is about Stanley and Stacy. They need our prayers and have asked for them.

I will keep everyone updated.
