Mrs. Jean has been moved to swing bed at Magee General Hospital. (Monday)
Mrs. Jean is in a room. She is awake and talking.
Mrs. Jean is in Baptist Hospital. The surgery went well. Continued prayers are needed.
Prayers for Mrs. Jean Clyde Ford, the mother of our mayor Jimmy Clyde. Mamaw Jean suffered a stroke on Wednesday while working with Food For Families of the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jean is dedicated to her church! She is a wonderful lady with a heart of gold.
She fainted Wednesday but someone was able to break her fall. She was taken by ambulance to Magee Hospital and later transferred to Jackson.
Mrs. Jean is in surgery now (5:00). We are waiting on word for how she is doing. The doctors were performing a partial hip replacement. At this time, she has no paralyze …not sure I am getting this spelled correctly…but wanted everyone to know.
