* Michael has gone home…please continue to pray

Many of you in the Magee area knew or know Jane Mangum Hederman. Her family owned the “City Drug Store” for many years. Jane is a 1963 graduate of Magee High School. Jane’s grandson has been injured and prayers are requested.

Love for All Ages — Mrs. Louise Windham—“Queen of Magee”

April 14, 2026

I received the following note from my sister, Linda (she and Jane are still very good friends). Please take time to pray for Michael and his family.

“Please pray for Michael Hederman, Jane and Robert’s 12 year old grandson.
Michael was attending a boy scout
get together with his troop this past weekend at Tiak where the boys
were sitting around a fire.  A can of Off was accidentally thrown into the
fire.  The can exploded and hit Michael’s eye. He was taken asap to
Forrest General, then immediately air lifted to UMC where surgery was
performed last night.  I have spoken with Jane.  The goal, immediately,
was to keep him from going into a coma.  He never did.  Michael did not
lose his eyeball or cornea although he lost the lens.  He has a
concussion and there was a good bit of swelling caused by facial
trauma.  At this point, they do not know the amount of vision that he
will have and won’t know for quite a while.
His parents are Robert IV and Amy.  Please pray for the restoration of
his vision and strength and comfort for the family.”

Ok, my prayer warriors…we are needed.
