Dusty Drennan

I, Dusty Drennan , am asking for your vote on November 6, to keep me as your Constable. I was appointed on December 15, 2017, by the Simpson County Board Of Supervisors and I have a better knowledge of this position from serving this past year. I have 24 years of experience in Law Enforcement with over 2000 hours of training.

My experience in law enforcement started in 1994, where I was a member of Magee’s Law Enforcement Explorer Training Program. In 1995, I graduated from Magee High School and went to college at Jones County Junior College. While attending Jones and majoring in Criminal Justice, I worked undercover as a loss prevention officer for JC Penny’s. In 1998, I went to work for the Hattiesburg Police Department. In 2001, I joined the force with Magee Police Department part-time and went to work full time with the Biloxi Fire Department.

I am a member of First Baptist Church in Magee and a member of the Mississippi Constables Association.

Currently I am employed as Constable Post 2 for Simpson County, Magee Police Department as a part-time patrolman, and Biloxi Fire Department as a Captain. I am also a retired member of the Magee Volunteer Fire Department after giving 17 years of volunteer service.

I have received the State Of Mississippi Act Of Valor award twice. One was for a rescue in Simpson County and the other was for my rescues and action during Hurricane Katrina which also resulted in receiving an Act Of Valor Award from the City Of Biloxi. I have received Firefighter Of The Year from the City Of Biloxi, as well as various other awards.

I am a lifelong resident of Simpson County. I am married to Ree Drennan, we have two sons, Dawsan and Devan. We own and operate the Huddle House in Magee and we have a vested interest in Simpson County.

If you have any questions, comments, or want more information feel free to contact me at 601-259-0058. Please take great consideration and help keep me as your Constable Post 2. Dusty Drennan for Constable Post 2.
