Phillip Taylor Thaxton, 38, passed away on December 30, 2018. He was born on May 29, 1980, to the late Phillip Jack Thaxton and Deborah (Pickering) Lyon.
Mr. Thaxton was self-employed. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
He is survived by his son, Kaden Thaxton; daughter, Chloe Thaxton; mother, Deborah (Pickering) Lyon (Garrison); brothers, Michael Lyon and James W. Thompson; sisters, Carrie Sheppard, and Leigh Smith Davis.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The service will begin at noon in Tutor Chapel with Riley Cohen officiating. Interment will be at Mendenhall City Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
