Ms. Melton was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. She was a loving daughter, mother, Tia, and friend. She enjoyed watching football with her brother, Kenny. She absolutely loved spending time with her great nephews and family. Pearl had the biggest heart. She was a fierce and loving protector of anyone she met and loved. She was truly an angel on earth. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends, but we know she is rejoicing being reunited with her daughter and other lost loved ones that preceded before her.

She was preceded in death by her father,John McDonald and her Mother, Lydia McDonald, and her daughter Stephanie Melton.

Survivors include her devoted brothers, Kenneth and John Anthony McDonald, five great nephews (Kyndell, Wesley, Bradley, Cristian, and Ollie), and loving niece Marissa Welch and husband, Scott, of Braxton and loving nephew, Jonathan McDonald and wife, Lilliana, of Alaska, along with a host of other family members and friends.
