Paving of the streets in the city of Magee began Monday, May 13, 2019, in residential areas. Monday morning, Choctaw Street West was getting a new coat of asphalt.
The sun shine is allowing the work to finally begin. Attached at the bottom of the article is a list of streets to be paved. As with anything, our money doesn’t go very far but the alderman under the direction of the city engineer earmarked the streets for pavement.
The street pictured above is 4th avenue NW/SW which runs adjacent to Choctaw
What about 2nd St SE? It’s on the list but still no paving!
