Paula Lynn Austin Thomas, 54, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Grace Church in Pearl, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Grace Church in Pearl. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mize. Bro. Floyd Steverson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.
Mrs. Paula Thomas was a member of Grace Church in Pearl, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was the youngest of six born to Clint and Vera Austin on February 25, 1967. When she was five her family moved to Pearl, MS. There she would attend Pearl schools. After high school she worked roughly thirty years at Fads and Frames. She then stayed home to keep her grandbabies she so much loved and enjoyed. Through all of this, she touched the lives of many along her journey in life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Vera Austin; sister, Susie Furr.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Thomas of Brandon; daughter, Tiffany Arnold and husband Daniel of Pearl; grandchildren, Andrew Austin Arnold and Kenneth Grayson Arnold; brothers, Kenneth Austin and wife Sandra of Lakeland, Florida, and Dean Austin and wife Candice of Clinton sisters, Vickie Johnson and husband Rusty of Pearl, and Mary Lewis and husband Johnny of Pearl; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.
