Paul Truett Powell, Sr. 77 passed away Monday at his home in Anderson, South Carolina. He was born Thursday, August 22, 1940.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.

Graveside Services will be held at Oakvale Methodist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive at 2:00PM on Friday, August 3, 2018. Bro. Michael Giles will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Powell and Lillie Powell; brothers, Billy Powell and Charlie Powell; sister, Bobbie Foster.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Powell; son, Paul Powell; daughter, Allyson Lawrence (Lennie); son, Preston Powell (Lindsay); five grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steven Cory Roy, Forrest Foster, Billy George Powell, Colby Powell, Taylor Foster, and Logan Powell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lantz Foster, Bob Powell, and Tom Hrbac.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to Baptist Children’s Village in Clinton, MS in memory of Paul Truett Powell, Sr.
