 Paul Jackson Douglas, 75 of Florence, MS passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at his residence in Florence, MS. He was born Monday, November 29, 1948 in Greenwood, Mississippi.

  Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 08, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Braxton City Cemetery in Braxton, MS. D Martin will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

  Paul was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded the bronze star medal for his service. He retired from Entergy after 37 years.

  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Douglas; mother, Jeanette Douglas.

  Survivors include his wife, Fran Douglas; son, Jack (Scotti) Douglas of Magee, MS; daughter, Joy (Hardy) Baldwin of Magee; daughter, Amy (Robert) Summerlin of Florence; brother, John Douglas of Georgia; grandchildren, Jaylea and Olivia Douglas, Robbie and Claire Summerlin.
