On April 14, 2009 his Majors became the first ever program in Millsaps’ history to be ranked number one in the nation after starting the season 19-2.

Page played his college ball at Millsaps from 1981-85 under head coach Tommy Ranager, who in turn, was elected into the Millsaps Hall of Fame in 1998 alongside Page. Page not only earned MVP honors his sophomore and senior seasons, but was named team captain as well. In Page’s senior season, he hit a blistering .487 from the plate, a record that still stands today.
