Mark Grubbs, Jon Styron, and Sue Honea, newly elected city officials, attend three days of training and leadership development presented at the Mississippi Municipal League’s 90th Annual Conference at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center.

Mayor Dale Berry and Alderman Patrick Brown also attended the conference.

Mark Grubbs, Alderman Ward 1, Sue Honea, Alderman at Large, and Jon Styron, City Clerk had the opportunity to network with an estimated 2,500 municipal elected officials, municipal employees, state agency representatives, legislators, exhibitor, and others.

The three attended classes and seminars while on the Coast as did Mayor Berry and Alderman Brown.  

The Mayor, Aldermen, and City Clerk are working toward continued certifications with MML.

MML is the Official Non-Profit private organization of Cities and Towns of Mississippi. The MML lobbies the state and federal legislatures, provides education for municipal elected officials, provides technical support, represents municipalities with public and private entities, and is a networking media for municipal members.
