No Dog Catcher in the City @ This Time

Chief Randy Crawford reported at the October 6, 2020 meeting,  the city of Magee is without a dog catcher.  Not only do we not have a dog catcher, the “dog catcher” truck is “dead.”  These two issues will be addressed in the future.

Chief Crawford introduced Dennis Smith to the board for consideration of the position of full time police officer.  Mr. Smith is a certified policeman.  He has worked in law enforcement since 2001.  Mr. Smith is from Collins and has worked with the Collins police as well as the Covington County Sheriff’s Department.  He has worked as a Narcotic officer, DUI Officer, and K-9 officer.
