The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in 1 Timothy 4:12: “Set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.” The apostle, in speaking to the early Christians, was inspired to instruct them in proper Christian conduct, especially among fellow church members. It’s just as important today as it was in that day. We are never to be stumbling blocks to anyone, but especially to fellow Christians. We must let our light shine before men to reflect our heavenly Father and not ourselves. Therefore, let us keep our eyes on Him so others can see Jesus in us. Be an encourager and set a positive example of what a Christian should be, based on the teachings of Jesus. Amen!
