Nell Crosby Wallace, 91, of Raleigh, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Miss Care Center in Raleigh. She was born Thursday, October 16, 1924 in Polkville, MS.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Mize. Burial will follow in Calvary Presbyterian Church in Mize. Bro. Joey McLeod will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 30, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee and also Tuesday Morning from 10:00AM till service time at Calvary Presbyterian Church.
She was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She insisted no one leave her home hungry. She also loved to make Quilts and made sure every new baby in the family got a beautiful baby Quilt.
She attended Calvary Presbyterian Church and loved attending the Church functions when she was able.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, John Billie Wallace, Parents, Marion and Delta Crosby, Eleven Brothers and Sisters
Survivors include her two sons, Billy Wallace (Becky), and Ted Wallace (Janice), both from Mize. Three Grandchildren and Six Great-grandchildren. Three Sisters
