Nancy Marie Lachapelle passed away on July 13, 2023, at home. She was born to Gaston Edmond Bauwens and Mae Marie Ezrow in Gardner, Massachusetts on April 9, 1950.
Nancy was a strong and hard-working woman that loved her family. She was a faithful and devoted wife. She always had a smile that shined so bright with sincerity that one could not help but return a smile. She will forever be loved by her family and missed by all the souls she has touched throughout her life. She will live in our hearts until we meet again.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Lee (Michael); sisters, Kay Bauwens McCarten and grandchildren, Monica Ausbern, Jonathan Wade, and Derrick Lee and great-grandchildren, Nash and Bentley Ausbern.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lenard LaChapelle; her parents, Gaston and Mae Marie Bauwens; and her siblings, Jean Marie Bauwens Green and Gaston Edmond Bauwens III.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall, MS.
