Joe Harold Allen passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2026. He was born on April 22, 1937, to the late Preston B. Allen and Alberta Ware Allen.

He was a Christian man whose life reflected the values he held dear, and he carried himself with a gentle spirit and a friendly nature, making others feel welcome in his company. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and went on to build a life through hard work, determination, and a strong sense of responsibility. He took pride in the work he did and the life he created with his family.

Those who knew Joe will remember him as a friendly man who enjoyed simple pleasures and valued the company of others. He especially enjoyed going out to eat fish and chitterlings, meeting his friends for coffee, and making the rounds to the banks around town to visit with friends and acquaintances. He also cherished his quiet time alone with his cows, finding comfort and contentment in those peaceful moments. His days were filled with familiar routines, meaningful conversations, and the kind of everyday joys that gave his life richness and purpose.
