Nancy M. Prestwood Brown, 90 of Mendenhall, Mississippi passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Strong River Villa in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was born Friday, August 10, 1934 in Bushtown, Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 2:30 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will follow in Strong River Baptist Church Cemetery in Pinola, MS. Special music will be performed by Whitney Bowen and Doris Tullos. Bro. Charles Meadows will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

 Nancy worked for South Central Bell for over 37 years and ended her career at Trustmark Bank in Magee. Nancy loved her church and church family. Gardening, cooking for her family, and grandchildren were a special delight.

 She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy A. Prestwood; second husband, Charlie S. Brown; parents, Cabe T and Flossie Millis Morris; brothers, Shelby Morris and Julius Morris; sisters, Virginia Sims, Louise Swanson and Nell Barlow.

 Survivors include her sons, Steven A Prestwood  (Sandra) and Morgan E Prestwood  (Paula); grandchildren, Craig  Prestwood  (Anna), Whitney  Bowen  (Chris), Cabe Prestwood  (Nicole), Cassie Huaman  (Hans) and Charles Brown;  great-grandchildren, Gracie Bowen, Brooke Prestwood, Charlye  Bowen, Tenley  Prestwood, Maylee Bowen, Caroline Bowen, Parker  Prestwood, Kate  Prestwood and Luna Huaman; niece, Judy McCall  (Butch).

 Pallbearers will be Craig Prestwood, Cabe Prestwood, Hans Huaman, Chris Bowen, Dee Lewis, Barry Lewis, and Todd Delk.
