MU ALPHA THETA- Fifty-one Copiah-Lincoln Community College students were inducted into Mu Alpha Theta during fall ceremonies in Rea Auditorium on the college’s Wesson Campus. During the ceremony, the 2017-2018 officer team was recognized. Officers include from left, Vice President of Finance Kinsey Dahlin of McComb; President Shay Hodges of Brookhaven; Vice President of Communication Peyton Neely of Braxton; Executive Vice President Hannah Mason of Wesson; and Vice President of Membership Kara Crosby of Bogue Chitto. Mu Alpha Theta is the mathematics honor society for high school and two-year college students. The organization of mathematics clubs serves over 112,000 student members in more than 2,300 schools in the United States and 20 foreign countries. Students must have completed College Algebra and have a 3.0 GPA in all two-year college mathematics courses to receive an invitation for membership.
