The Simpson Academy Cougars faced powerhouse Madison-Ridgeland Academy—and it was all Patriots from start to finish.
MRA came into the matchup riding an eight-game winning streak, and they showed exactly why they’re one of the top-ranked teams in the state. The Patriots took control early and never looked back, taking a 35-12 win over the Cougars.
For Simpson Academy, it’s been a challenging stretch. The Cougars have dropped five of their last six games, bringing their overall record to 3-7 for the season.
