Mrs. Verdice Camper Weathersby, Age 86, passed away on October 1, in Pahrump, NV. Services were Saturday, October 10, at Magee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Magee, MS. Rev. Michael Gipson of St. Matthew Church, Mendenhall, MS. officiated the service. Interment at Saint Matthew Cemetery, Camper Estate, St. Matthew Road, Mendenhall, MS.

Sheis preceded in death by her mother and father, Verdice and Albert Camper and two brother, A. C. Camper and Timothy Camper, and her late husband, Otis J. Weathersby, Mendenhall, MS. Verdice lived in New York for over 40 years before moving back to Mendenhall. At the time of her passing, she was living in Pahrump, Nevada, where she was lovingly cared for by her previous daughter-in-law, Leana Weathersby.
Verdice leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Marzell Howard of Plano, TX, and Vera M. Weathersby of Wilver Springs, Maryland; four sons, Delmar “Ben” Weathersby (Regenia) of Robbinsville, New Jersey; Gary L. Weathersby (Nyasia) of Fresh Meadows, New York,; James Mikell Weathersby (Lettzie) of Flushing, New York, and Otis Lewis Weathersby (Denise) of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. In addition, (14) grandchildren, and (17) great grandchildren. Two brothers: L. J. Camper of Mendenhall, MS., and Wardell Camper of Hammond Louisiana;
three sisters; Berdie Magee of Chicago, IL., Ola Mae Gibson of Jackson, MS., and Crystal Roby of Mendenhall, MS, a host of nieces and nephews. Services and arrangements entrusted to Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home of Magee.
