Mrs. Jessie Toney
(September 2, 1938 – March 26, 2016)
Mrs. Jessie Pearl Toney of Mize was born September 2, 1938 to Venable Harvey and Leva Sullivan Harvey. Mrs. Toney passed from this life on March 26, 2016 at the age of 77. She was a resident of Hillcrest Nursing Center for the past four months. She worked for thirty –two years as an employee at Hilltop Restaurant in Mize, Ms. She was well known and loved by all, for her kindness, smile and wonderful cooking skills!

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. JoAnna Barnes will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Presbyterian Church. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.

Mrs. Toney is survived by her three daughters, Rhonda Barrett and her husband Russell, of Mize, MS. Linda Mills, and her husband Owen, of Laurel, MS., Cynthia Ainsworth, of Tallulah, Louisiana, and her two sons, Gregg Toney and his wife Judy, of Collins, MS., and Steve Sasser.
Mrs. Toney has nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and host of nieces and nephews, that was very dear to her!

She was preceded in death by her husband , W.T. Toney her parents Venable and Leva Harvey, her brothers Randy Harvey, and Bobby Harvey, Mack Harvey, sister, Sherry Harvey, and nephews Eric Harvey.
Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Purser, Justin Mills, Jason Mills, Adam Toney, Zack Toney, and James Frith.

Honorary Pallbearers: Mann Sullivan, Tony Stuckey, and John Howell.
