Larry’s love for the outdoors was a form of therapy, finding God’s presence in the beauty of nature, whether he was on his tractor, tending to his garden, or simply cutting grass. An avid fan of Westerns, especially those featuring John Wayne, and shows like ‘Curse of Oak Island,’ he found joy and relaxation in these simple pleasures. One of his hobbies was hunting, where he enjoyed the peaceful time to reflect and be grateful for all his blessings, especially his family. He eagerly anticipated upcoming family reunions, where he could reconnect with loved ones and share in the joy of fellowship. He also enjoyed the old hymns.

He took great pride in his family and approached everything he did with a full heart. His loving, kind, and faith-filled nature was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be remembered as a pillar of strength, a beacon of love, and an example of a life well-lived.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 20, at Tutor Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Gipson and C.A. Smith officiating.
