Mississippi’s Pro Rodeo Comedian Lecile Harris was honored on Thursday, February 16, 2017, by the state Senate with presentation of Senate Concurrent Resolution 611, that praised the Lake Cormorant native’s exceptional career and list of achievements.
Harris has traveled the world entertaining the masses and is a favorite at the Dixie National Rodeo held annually at the Fairgrounds Coliseum in Jackson. The “Dean of Bullfighters,” has contributed much to the sport and has taught many future greats the essentials of the art.
