JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum will host its Pumpkin Adventure on October 8-11, 15-18 and 22-25. Families can enjoy the fall tradition from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with extended hours for family days on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The family-friendly fall event transforms the museum grounds into a pumpkin wonderland filled with seasonal fun for all ages. Visitors can take a hayride through the scenic property, learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin and end the ride with a tasty snack. Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the Heritage Center Gallery and discover more about Mississippi’s rich agricultural heritage.

In addition to the hayride and exhibits, attendees can stop by the Pumpkin Patch to pick out a pie pumpkin to take home. Seasonal treats and souvenirs will also be available at the General Store, ensuring visitors leave with lasting memories of their autumn adventure.

Admission for the Pumpkin Adventure is $12.00 per person for ages 1 and up.

The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum, a division of the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce, located at 1150 Lakeland Drive in Jackson, is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, call 601-432-4500 or 1-800-844-8687, and visit www.msagmuseum.org or the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum on Facebook.
