Mississippi Academy of Sciences holding 81st annual meeting Feb. 23-24 at USM

The University of Southern Mississippi is set to host the 81st annual meeting of the Mississippi Academy of Sciences Feb. 23-24 at the Thad Cochran Center on the Hattiesburg campus. This is the largest meeting of its kind in the state, and the eighth year in a row it has been held in Hattiesburg.

The meeting will feature oral and poster presentations, symposia, workshops and exhibits, with themes ranging from population health to gene editing technology.
Graduate and undergraduate students, as well as faculty representing all of the state’s institutions of higher learning, will present their research during the event. Many of the presenters have USM affiliations.
