Merchantship Ministries is an organization formed several years ago under the guidance of Charlie Neely White. I’m just saying, Charlie has a heart for missions…and especially the women of Africa. For several years, she has developed ways to give back and help the country she visited while in college. Charlie saw first hand the hardships women faced…she knew God was leading her to always …and I mean always…reach out and help these ladies. She visits Africa one or two times a year and meets with these women. She is in email contact with the lady who oversees the projects in Africa.

Merchantship Ministries supports “jobs” for these women…encourages them to be self-sufficient…but early on, Charlie realized “a market” for their creations was needed.

Through MM sales in the USA, Charlie has created the market.

Happy Birthday to a Special Lady—Diane McPhail

Let’s Celebrate Diane McPhail turning 80!!!

July 8, 2026

On Friday, October 16th, at my home (126 3rd Avenue NW) a fall sale will be held featuring jewelry and gifts. The “market” is held on my front porch from 11:00 AM-1:00PM…light refreshments are served. Come on your lunch time…just “run on by” and make a donation. MM’s funds are low…and Charlie has another project waiting for the ladies…but with most things…”we got to have money.”

The Market offers a great opportunity for early Christmas shopping while helping others.

The majority of items sold are made by the African ladies. The colors and bead work are exquisite. Please take time to come…and bring a friend. Spread the word…
