Being from a large family of eight and having special needs, Michael had never walked, talked, and only had minimal use of his arms. Now in the presence of our Lord, he is walking on the streets of gold, talking away and using his wings instead of his arms. He is truly an angel. Rest in Peace to our little brother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Jefferson Harper, Jr.; mother, Vera Lee McWilliams Harper; brother, Thomas Jefferson  Harper, III; sister, Ruby Rren Harper Errington.

Survivors include his brothers, Jerry Harper (Patsy) of Clem, Mississippi, James Harper (Joni) of Mendenhall, Mississippi; sisters, Lynn Harper Broome (TM) of Braxton, Mississippi, Pat Harper Boone of Magee, Mississippi, Mary Harper Higgs (George) of Leona, Texas; sister-in-law, Ann Neely Harper of Braxton, Mississippi; and a host of nieces and nephews

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

The family would like to give a special thank you for all the years of wonderful care given by the entire staff at Ellisville State School.
