Congratulations to Michael Allan for his selection by the Magee Fire Department as Fireman of the Year.  The selection is quite an honor and one Michael deserves!  Many of you know that Michael has been working with me for maybe 4 years.  We walked some tough times together.  He’s put up with a lot!  I am probably not the easiest person to work for…we jump from one job to another!  Michael never wants to be in front of the camera.  Well, tonight (Thursday, October 26th) Michael was “all in front of the camera.”

Michael was moved to tears upon the announcement of his selection,  When Michael turned 18 he joined the Magee Fire Department and he has been on a mission ever since…  A mission to be the very best fireman   ever!  Michael puts his heart and soul into the department.  He loves the city of Magee.  He loves the people of Magee.  Mainly, Michael loves.  He loves helping others.  He has the most loving heart to have such a temper!
