Mexie Everett, also known to many as “Mickey”, went home to be with her heavenly father on September 9, 2020, at the age of 89. She was born on December 2, 1930, to her parents, the late William Clarance Blackwell and Minnie (Hughes) Blackwell.
Mickey was a retired business secretary. She loved her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by one son, Kendall Orland Everett; two daughters, Susan Everett Herrington (Chuck), Minnie Laura Lang (Paul, Jr); nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orland C Everett; daughter, Nanci Lynn Chestnut; three brothers, Billy Mack Blackwell, T.G. Blackwell and Bud Blackwell.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020, at Tutor Funeral Home, Magee, MS from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Magee City Cemetery with Bro. Aubrey Everett officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
