Dean Philip Dickinson has been named Mendenhall High School Class of 2016 Valedictorian.
Dean is the son of Rhuel and Fonda Dickinson. Dean is graduating with High Honors, 4.0 GPA and ACT score of 30.
Dean has attended Mendenhall all of his school years. Dickinson is a member of the Tiger Football Team and Archery Team. During school he was a member of the Beta Club, Fishing Club, Football Team Captain, Math and Science Club, Eagle Scout, Future Leader of Simpson County, Student Council Representative, and elected Boys State.
Dickinson was awarded MS Scholars, Hall of Fame, Wendy’s Heisman School Winner, Outstanding Senior, Most Likely to Succeed, and Most Intellectual.
Dean enjoys fishing, hunting, weightlifting, reading and hanging with his friends in his spare time.
Dean plans to attend the University of Mississippi for 4 years and UMC to study to become an Orthopedic Surgeon (Sport’s Medicine Doctor).
