In 2015, Mendenhall High School established an ACT (American College Test) 25 Point Club for students scoring a composite score of 25 or higher. Student pictures are displayed on banners in the foyer of the Main Office Building to honor the club members. The following sixteen distinguished students are members of the 2017-2018 MeHS ACT 25 Point Club:

Fifty-eight Mendenhall High School students currently have earned a 21 or higher ACT composite score. Higher ACT scores equate to larger scholarship opportunities for students. Mendenhall High School offers three sections of ACT prep to juniors.
