Mendenhall Defeats Morton in Hard Fought Match

The Mendenhall Tigers continued their victory march by defeating Morton 40-33 in their 2023 Homecoming conference game.

Morton jumped ahead in the first quarter 13-6.  The second quarter saw a TD and extra points by both teams.  Mendenhall exploded in the 3rd quarter with 20 points answered by only 6 from Morton.  The 4th quarter each team scored one touchdown and made the extra points.  Final score:  40-33

Caleb Johnson (Jr) led the team with 2 touchdowns.  Issac Stewart (Jr), Dolph McDonald (Freshman), and Xavier McDonald (Soph) each scored a TD
