LAUREL, Miss. – December 17, 2025 – South Central Regional Medical Center is proud to announce the hiring of Susan Sanders as the Executive Director of the SC Health Care Foundation and Marketing Department.
Sanders is an experienced, results-driven nonprofit leader with extensive experience in health care philanthropy, public relations and event management. She is a Laurel native who received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2013.
“South Central is so pleased Susan has joined our organization,” said Chief Administrative Officer Sam Andrus. “Her expertise and growth mindset will be integral to fostering effective collaboration that amplifies the hospital’s ability to best serve patients and families.”
Passionate about community engagement, Sanders is committed to developing creative strategies that drive meaningful results and strengthen connections between SCRMC and the people it serves.
“I feel grateful for the opportunity to bolster the mission of the Foundation at South Central,” Sanders said. “I look forward to building strong relationships with our community and advancing initiatives, like the Maternal Child and Pediatrics Capital Campaign, that support the organization’s overall mission and long-term goals.”
