State Route 541 CLOSED in Smith County 

WHO:         The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).

WHAT:        Highway CLOSURE.

WHEN:        Tuesday, May 18, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. (UPDATED)

WHERE:      State Route 541 in both directions between State Route 18 and State Route 13 in Smith County.

WHY:           A section SR 541 will be CLOSED to commercial traffic for roadwork. Crews will be working on a culvert replacement.

Only local traffic will be allowed on the highway.

Motorists are reminded to be on high alert for roadside workers.

U.S. Highway 51 CLOSED in Pike County

WHO: The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).

WHAT: Highway CLOSURE.

WHEN: Thursday, May 13, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

WHERE: U.S. Highway 51 in both directions from Main Street to Canal Street in McComb.

WHY: A section of U.S. 51 will be CLOSED for a water main repair.

Truck traffic is advised to find an alternate route.

Motorists are reminded to be on high alert for roadside workers.
