McNair’s Bat Helps Lead Trojans to Victory

Magee High School Senior and standout Brennon McNair help lead the Trojans to victory against McLaurin with five RBI’s on the evening.

McNair drove in five runs on three hits to lead the Trojans past McLaurin by a score of 16-3 on Friday. McNair drove in runs on a single in the first, a home run in the first, and a sacrifice fly in the fourth.

McLaurin scored three runs in the fifth inning, but was not enough to move past the Trojans.

McNair led things off on the mound for the Trojans. McNair allowed four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Magee tallied two home runs on the day. Jordan Magee had a long ball in the second inning. McNair scored a home run in the first.

Magee had a total of  11 hits in the game. McNair and Chandler Pittman all had multiple hits for Trojans.
