Following an almost day long search in the City of Magee area, Monkenly McNair was not found.
According to Magee Police Chief Shane Little, McNair is listed on the NCIC as a wanted person and not believed to be in the area of the search from Friday, December 29, 2023.
On Friday, December 29, 2023, Magee Police Department was notified that a stolen vehicle out of Hattiesburg could be in the Magee area. Officers located the vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver refused to stop and led officers on a chase through the city. Monkenly McNair was identified as the driver of the stolen vehicle.
