The Mayor’s report at the Tuesday night, February 18, 2020, meeting was short!

Mayor Berry explained again that when the weather breaks, “we can get back to fixing potholes and sweeping the streets.”  To repair the potholes clear dry weather is needed.  Also, the street cleaning machines will not work on wet roads.

Berry explained that a load of top soil is ready to be distributed at the City Cemetery but again until the weather breaks we can do nothing.

Mayor Berry emphasized again the need for everyone in the city and county to register for the 2020 Census.  “Each person is worth $2,000 in the count,” said Berry.
