Mayo Dendy passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018, in Smith County. He was born on September 28, 1961, to John Dendy and the late Lurline (Wells) Dendy.
Mayo was the store manager of Greer’s Market in Mt. Olive, MS.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Sullivan Dendy; son, Josh Dendy; brothers, Tamage Floyd, Graham Floyd, Edward Floyd, Paul Dendy; ten grandchildren; his best friend and father-in-law, Billy G. Sullivan.
Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Dendy Troney, and brother, Marlo Dendy
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services are Monday, July 23, at 2:00 p.m. in Tutor Chapel with interment following in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize, MS. Rev. Kevin White and Rev. John Barnes will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
