Maxine Garner, 74, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at her home in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, April 18, 1945.

 A private family visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee

 A private family funeral service will be held Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee. A public graveside will follow in Merchant Cemetery. Bro. Thomas Sanders will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mrs. Garner was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Garner; parents, R. B. and Dannie Lee Jordan; brothers, Joe Jordan and Bobby Jordan.

Survivors include her sons, Harold Garner (Mary) and Keith Garner (Julie); daughters, Renee Hall (Kenneth) and Lisa Dukes (Michael); brothers, David Jordan (Alice) and Eddie Jordan (Rhonda); grandchildren, Derek Dukes, Nicholas Garner, Brian Garner, Patrick Dukes, Brandon Garner, and Michaela Dukes; eleven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Derek Dukes, Nicholas Garner, Patrick Dukes, Brandon Garner, Bo Jordan, and John Guy.
