The district had 21 staff members and 47 students to test positive this week. In order to ensure the safety of the staff and student body, 7 staff members and 49 students were quarantined.
Simpson Central students returned to campus Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Magee High School returned to the campus Friday, January 21, 2022. Mendenhall Elementary, Mendenhall Jr. High, Mendenhall High and Magee Elementary students will return to campus Monday, January 24, 2022. Magee Middle students will return to campus Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Masks will be required at each school site upon return.
The nursing staff at each school will continue to work diligently to ensure all protocols and procedures are being followed as students return from virtual learning.
