Mary Russell, 78, entered her heavenly home on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Bedford Care in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born on April 11, 1942, to her late parents, Eugene Meadows and Gertha (Walker) Meadows in Magee, MS.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She cherished her family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with them. To know her was to love her.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Robert Earl Russell (d,1992); brothers, J.W. Meadows, Bill Meadows and sister, Ola Sullivan.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth “Kenny” Earl Russell; daughters, Wanda Williams (David), Linda Russell Jones (Daniel); sisters, Ruby Williams, Judy Bonner; grandchildren, Karen Williams Yarborough (Josh), John David Williams; two great-grand children Zoey Yarborough and Lillia Grace Yarborough.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m.on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Stonewall Cemetery, Shivers, MS. Brother Charles Bonner will officiate the service.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
