In Katherine’s last days she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who lived in the Pinola area. They worked diligently to ensure her comfort and care for her needs as her body gave way to cancer. She continued to enjoy all of the visits and calls from her family who she held dear.
Katherine’s greatest accomplishment and where she vested her pride was in her family. She was a devoted wife before the loss of her husband and loving mother to her family which grew to include 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren (another on the way), and 2 great great grandchildren. She loved her family additions through marriage just as she loved her own children as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
