Mary Fortenberry passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was born on August 13, 1946, to Alonzo Clinton Jones and Mary Sue Williamson Jones.
She is survived by sons, Tony Carroll Boyles, Timothy Mark Boyles; brothers, Robert C. Jones, Fordie A. Jones, John W. Jones; sister, Ruby Doris Williams; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Shannon Boyles, second husband, William Fortenberry; two daughters, Connie Lynn Boyles and Cynthia Shanon Boyles and sister, Sarah Francis Fortenberry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 7, at Dry Creek Baptist Church with interment following in the church cemetery. Bro. Joe Metts and Bro. Charles Burnham will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
