Mary Dean Wilson Cashion was called to her Heavenly home on February 14, 2023 at Briarhill Nursing home in Florence Ms.  Mary of 89 years resided in Brandon Ms. She was born in Noxapater Ms. on November 10, 1933 to the late Johnny Wilson & Allie Wilson (Gregory).  She graduated from Pearl High School in Pearl MS and retired after many years of employment. A member of Faith Baptist Church in Florence Ms.

A beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother Aunt and friend. A sweet precious woman of God. Mary will be missed and always loved by her family & friends that she held close to her heart. Mary was faithful & loved to attend church when she was able to attend. She enjoyed reading & studying the bible, fishing, baking, sewing, gardening & playing bingo at Briarhill…She received her healing when God called her home. No more pain no more sickness. She is now rejoicing & enjoying Heaven with our Lord & Savior. As a woman of faith she always would tell you about God and lift you up in prayer. She always greeted you with an embrace and smile. When you would leave she never forgot to hug and say I love you.

Thank you to Briarhill Nursing home staff for her care through the years.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.  Burial will follow in Puckett Cemetery. Bro. Adam Elkins, Bro. John Rushing, and Bro. Van Carter will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne  Cashion;  father, Johnny  Wilson;  mother, Allie  Wilson  Gregory;  grandchild, Christopher  Webb;  brother, Johnny  Wilson;  step-father, Floyd  Gregory;  son-in-law, Paul  Webb.

Survivors include her son, Paulaskia Joe Cashion (Tonya) of Brandon, MS; daughter, Bonnie Webb of Brandon, MS; 9 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; and many family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Wes Madden, Wes Waller, Joshua Cashion, Josh Kyzar, John McCoy, and Donald Johnston
