Margie Carr, 82, of Laurel, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall.  She was born on July, 28, 1939.

  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will be at Sharon Cemetery in Magee.  Bro. Randy Cook will officiate the services.

  Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements.

  Mrs. Carr was a member of the Moose Lodge and the FFA-4-H Club in Laurel, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

 Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by father of the children J D Carr; husband, Samuel Dool; daughter, Linda Ann Carr; parents, Daniel Herman Landrum and Rena Eugene Adcox; numerous brothers and sisters.

 Mrs. Carr is survived by her three sons, Jim D.  Carr (Kim) and Cecil A.  Carr both of Laurel, MS, Adam A. Carr (Dotty) of Pelahatchie, MS;  two daughters, Deborah  Carr  Brown (Danny) of Magee, MS and LaHoma  J.  Herrington of Laurel, MS; 14  grandchildren;  19 great- grandchildren; 1 1/2 great-great-grandchildren;  brother, Billy  F Landrum;  sisters, Betty  J Jones,  Pauline  Anderson, and Hazel Cummings; and a host of nieces and nephews.
