Kriste Mangum a Math teacher at the Simpson County Alternative School announced her retirement after 28 1/2 years of service with Simpson County School District.
Mangum taught Math at Magee Middle School for years before transferring to the Alternative School. All years of service were with Simpson County School District.
A reception was held Monday, January 3, 2022 for Mangum. Several co-worker and previous co-workers were in attendance. Coach Terrell Luckey, Principal at the Alternative School, presented a plaque and gifts to Mangum. A resolution from the Simpson County School District will be presented at a later date.
Thank you for the many years of service and a special thank you to the many lives you made an impact on over the years. We wish you the best in your retirement and next endeavor.
